KAV Rentals is located in Big Spring, Texas. We serve customers throughout Big Spring and the surrounding West Texas area, including customers traveling from Midland, Stanton, Colorado City, Snyder, Garden City, and nearby communities.

You can view available trailers and submit your reservation online through our website. Choose the trailer you need, select your rental dates, and complete the required rental information. You can also call or text KAV Rentals if you need help choosing the right trailer.

Do you offer daily and weekly trailer rentals?

Yes. KAV Rentals offers both daily and weekly rental options. Longer rentals may be available depending on the trailer and current availability.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is required with trailer rentals. The deposit is returned after the trailer is returned on time, clean, undamaged, and with all included equipment.

What do I need to rent a trailer?

Renters should have a valid driver's license, current vehicle insurance, an appropriate tow vehicle, and the correct trailer connection for the trailer being rented. Additional requirements may vary depending on the trailer.

How do I know if my truck can tow the trailer?

Your tow vehicle must be properly rated for the weight of the trailer and the load you plan to haul. Towing capacity, hitch rating, payload, trailer brakes, and loaded trailer weight all matter. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, call or text us before booking and we can help you choose the appropriate trailer.

Do I need a trailer brake controller?

All of our trailers use electric trailer brakes, so an operational brake controller will be required. Contact us if you are unsure whether your vehicle is properly equipped.

What size trailer ball do I need?

Ball and hitch requirements vary by trailer. Check the individual trailer listing or contact KAV Rentals before pickup so you arrive with the correct hitch setup.  All trailers will either be a 2" or 2-5/16". Currently the only 2" hitch in the fleet is the Diamond C GTF 18' Car Hauler.

Do the car haulers include a winch?

All of our car haulers include a winch specified for the trailer size.  All of the winches are included in the price.

Are tie-down straps included with the car haulers?

All of our car haulers include straps to help secure your load.  If not towing a vehicle, please let us know because we can include other straps.

What is the difference between your dump trailers?

We have three 14-foot dump trailers. Our white dump trailer has 4-foot walls for higher-volume and bulky loads, while our matching red and green dump trailers have 2-foot walls that make loading materials and equipment easier.  The smaller 2-foot wall trailers are perfect for half-ton (1500) pickups or similar size.

Yes, depending on the size and weight of the equipment. Our car and equipment trailers are commonly used for cars, pickups, tractors, ATVs, and compact equipment. Always verify the combined weight and dimensions before loading.

What can I use the 24-foot enclosed trailer for?

Our 24-foot enclosed trailer is a good option for moving furniture, household goods, motorcycles, tools, equipment, event supplies, and other cargo that you want protected from weather and road debris.

You can also tow smaller vehicles and SUV's.  This trailer does not come with a winch, but can be equipped with proper straps.

Yes. Current availability can be checked through our online booking system. Select the trailer you are interested in and choose your rental dates to see whether it is available.

Yes. Weekend rentals are available based on trailer availability. Because weekends are often our busiest rental periods, reserving ahead of time is recommended.

Trailers should be returned reasonably clean and free of trash, debris, or materials from the rental. Dump trailers should be emptied before return unless other arrangements have been made.

Can I take a KAV Rentals trailer out of town?

Yes, trailers may be used for out-of-town hauling as long as the trip complies with the rental agreement and the trailer is returned as scheduled. Let us know about longer-distance trips when reserving so we can make sure the trailer is appropriate for your needs.  There is no extra mileage charge, just a daily rental rate.  If you can drive 2,000 miles in a single day, go for it, but watch that speed limit!
